Full Job Description

LumaDent Inc. is hiring for an accounting associate. The hours will be Monday through Friday 7am-3:30 pm.  Pay will depend on experience.

The Accounting Associate will perform a wide range of duties including Collections, Billing, Customer Service, Reconciling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable 

The Accounting Associate also works to ensure that accounts are maintained up-to-date. The Accounting Associate communicates with multiple departments and colleagues to ensure that the payments are accurate and proper. This position is also responsible for.

Accounts Receivable & Collections

  • Monitor and maintain a collection of accounts
  • Identify and resolve issues
  • Reconciliation of account balances, identifying mistakes and correcting
  • Communicating with management 

Billing & Invoicing

  • Responsible for submitting invoices to customers for payment
  • Must issue refunds when needed 

Customer Service

  • Provide excellent and continuous service to customers

Accounts Payable

  • Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately
  • Maintain a professional and effective relationship with  contacts

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one (2) years of experience in accounts receivable/accounts payables required.
  • Working knowledge Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook, basic office equipment
  • Working knowledge of general accounting principles, accounting practices and theories.
  • Previous experience working with Braintree is  preferred but not required.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills (in English) and demonstrates the ability to resolve all situations in a professional manner.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Able to follow directions and ask questions
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize based on urgency
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Team player demonstrated by a willingness to work with the team to achieve common goals.
  • Proactive self-starter who gets things done, usually without being told or reminded.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
